Dry crusty face? Not anymore!

I have combination skin.. Mostly normal.. But an extremely oily nose & dry forehead (between my eyebrows). Even though my nose is super oily, it's also really dry at the same time. Weird, I know. But it peels really bad. I have been looking for a good moisturizer to use in the winter/summer.. And I randomly decided to pick up the Olay Age Defying Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream. That's a mouthful.

I think I paid about $13 for this at Target. This stuff is AMAZING! It hydrates the hell out of my face & leaves it smelling like I sprayed some high end perfume on my face. It smells really good. If you are sensitive to smell, I wouldn't recommend this. This product helped get rid of my dry patches super fast. As for wrinkles, im only 25 and don't have any wrinkles currently. So I guess I'll be able to let you know about that in 10 years :P lol

But for people with dry skin or dry patches in their skin, I'd highly recommend this product.

REVIEW: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Treatment Concealer

I got this a few months ago -- I think in March? It was in my March favorites. I really really love this product. I picked up mine from Wal-Mart for around $7-8. Let's get to the basics :) ..

I don't have any other makeup on in this picture btw ;)

Packaging: Sucks. It's convenient how it has the sponge applicator at the top, but it's messy. As you can see in the picture, mine has gotten all over the inside of the lid. Also if I wanted to add this item to my kit, I wouldn't be able to because there is no way of sanitizing it :( You can also notice in the picture that there is some product stuck on the little spiral thingy that moves downward that I will not be able to use (if that makes sense?). I've heard a lot of people saying their product packaging broke -- but I have yet to have that problem.

How I Apply It: I start from the inner corner of my eye & blend it with my finger all the way underneath my eye. Then after blending, I add some more to the darker part of my under eye & pat it out till it's blended for better coverage.
Overall Opinion: I really like this product. It actually works. I have extremely dark under eye circles and normally liquid concealers do not cut it for me. I normally have to use kind of thick creamy concealers. I was kind of sketchy about trying this product out.. but I'm glad I did. It covers up my circles, and since this is a treatment concealer, overtime it lightens up your dark circles! No shit, it really works! I can tell a difference in the color of my under eye after the few months that I've been using it. This product actually lasts for a while as well. I've had it since March & it's currently June -- and I still have about half of the product left & I use it every single day.

I recommend this product if you have problems with under eye darkness.. I am really surprised with the outcome of this product. It works so good that the bad packaging doesn't really bother me.

Benefit High Beam Dupe!

Sorry it's been awhile since I've been on here :P I haven't really been into makeup and all lately - therefore I haven't been purchasing any which leads to me having nothing to review/talk about. But I've had this product for awhile and realized that it's pretty much an exact duplicate so I figured I'd share with you guys! :)

I have a mini size bottle of the Benefit's High beam. The full size bottle retails for about $28 I believe at Sephora. Well, I've already done a review for Elf's Body Shimmer which you can see HERE -- and one of these Elf Body Shimmer sticks matches High Beam exactly.

The Elf Body Shimmer stick is called Mystic Moonlight. Obviously, the texture is different than High Beam. High Beam comes in a liquid form and the Mystic Moonlight comes in a solid cream form. But the color payoff is like a perfect match. Same color, same shimmer - everything. I find that the High Beam is easier to blend than the Mystic Moonlight -- but that isn't a big deal to me when the Mystic Moonlight is $3 compared to High Beam's $28.

I'm not saying that I do not like High Beam -- because I do. It's a great product! But it's a bit pricey for me and I can't go and repurchase 34384347 bottles of it. So Elf's Body Shimmer stick in Mystic Moonlight is more my type since it's only $3. Plus Elf always has sale coupons floating around on the internet so you can probably pick it up for half off ;)

Hope you enjoyed this review & I'm going to try and post more -- I promise! I have tons of new things coming up that I am looking forward to blogging about :)

FOTD & Wet N Wild Crazy!

The past couple of weeks I have been collecting a few Wet N Wild products! It all started with the Color Icon palette (Lust) I got on sale for $2.50 at CVS. I wasn't sure if I was going to like these or not because I wasn't crazy about the past holiday glitter eye collection ones they came out with. But I tried this one out & I LOVED it! So I went to my local Rite Aid and they had the other Color Icon (Pride & Greed) palettes on sale for only $1.24! This week when I got paid I got one of their newer trio palettes (Silent Treatment) and I love it oh so much as well. I also picked up one of their lipsticks (Just Peachy) because I've never tried them - and I just so happen to be in love with it as well! So today I went and picked up 2 more lipsticks (Think Pink & Mauve Outta Here) and a Mega Glo illuminating powder (Catwalk Pink).

FOTD:
I wore my Wet n Wild Trio in Silent Treatment on my eyes today & my 'Think Pink' (#901B) on my lips! I also wore the 2 lighter shades on the Mega Glo illuminating powder in Catwalk Pink. I got a lot of compliments on my makeup today!

At work, I was taking this lady's order and she said,
"Your makeup looks really good today!"
And I replied,
"THANK YOU!!!!!"
Basically screaming it at her because I was so happy/shocked that she noticed and said something about it haha. I like compliments :D I don't get them that often from strangers, so when I do - I get excited :P

Up close at some of the products + swatches:
 Silent Treatment Eyeshadow Trio -$2.99
(the last color looks silver but it's more of a taupe color)
Lipsticks - Think Pink, Just Peachy, Mauve Outta Here - $1.99

Pictures really don't do justice on these. I really really love these products! The eyeshadows are really pigmented! And the lipsticks are super pigmented as well and they last such a long time! These are matte lipsticks however - so you do have to exfoliate your lips before applying or else it will look like a hot mess.

As many times as I've seen these in Wal-Mart or Rite Aid - they have never appealed to me for some reason. But I'm really glad I decided to try them. They're amazing!

Oh, off topic once again -- but I also got this Rimmel London palette for 75% off!
I've been wanting this palette for a while now because this exact palette was in one of my Nylon Magazines a couple of months ago - and they had this quad on sale! So I got it for $1.42!

What Wet N Wild products have you tried that you like?
