Fun Pictures Using Thirtyonewest Pigments

I was bored today and wanted to do some new pictures with a few pigments just messing around & here's what I came up with:

I thought they looked kinda cool :P I may do some more just for fun.

Instagramin' Erryythang! Blahblahblah

As most of you may know, I Instagram just about every single picture here on my blog -- as well as my Tumblr. I've been obsessed with using my iPhone, I don't even use my Canon Rebel anymore! :P Haha. Basically I just wanted to write a blog entry & I had nothing else to discuss about - so I figured I'd share a few pictures I took today :)

I took a bunch of what I like to call ' I love me pictures ' today with my lovellyyyyy pink wig :) Some guy messaged me today on Facebook & told me he was a photographer & would love to shoot me sometime (he lives in the same area) - & I had my pink wig on in my default picture - so it made me feel good about myself & I decided to take more pink hair pictures! Bahaha. I didn't respond though. I've considered modeling before, but I am just awkward & would feel weird. I feel like I would try and be sexy in my pictures & then I'd laugh at myself because I'm not sexy at all - and it would just be a disaster. So no modeling for me anytime soon! 

I also had to work today, so I went in a little early to eat. And of course, I had to use Instagram on my food because I am a loser & such.

OM NOM NOM! Gyro meat is delicious. If you've never tried it, you should. It's like a mixture of beef & lamb if i'm not mistaken? I've also been eating salads lately? Very odd for me. I hate salads. But lately, I've been craving it. Pregnant?! Lol, just kidding. I just eat a ton of junk food & when I eat healthy things it makes me feel better - so lately i've just been craving healthy things such as salad - and normally I eat fries with my gyro meat, but I've been replacing them with either potato salad or slaw. Yay for healthy eating Lauren! :D

Then, once I got home from work, my mother's friend was over & had some Pomegranates :) I love pomegranate flavored things (as well as scented things!) - so I had some to eat. And of course, a chance to Instagram something!

So this is what I do in my free time, and even when i'm busy. Any chance I get when I see something cool, I Instagram it - because I am lame.

I miss my wonderful boyfriend! I wish he'd stop working oh so much during this time of year! Then maybe I'd be able to Instagram cute pictures of him too :( It just sucks because we're both starting to work a lot as of right now & when I'm off - he's not - etc, etc. Oh well! We're hopefully getting a house soon so we can cuddle every night again :) Makes me a happy lady.

But that's all for today. Nothing interesting. Just sharing my love of Photography/Instagram :D

Newest Thirtyonewest Photo Shoot + Products

This past Saturday I was suppose to have a 3 person photo shoot - but I ended up having only one person who could make it - which is my friend, Lindsay. Here's a few of the edited pictures I have so far:

 This dress is super cute! It's oversized & slouchy - not to mention reversible! Yep, this awesome dress has two different sides - woohoo!

 There are a few more I haven't uploaded - but this is mainly it! I really like taking pictures of things - photography is part of what I went to school for. I tend to get into the photography mood when I take pictures for my shop & I don't know if that's a good thing or not? Like, if you skim through a lot of other vintage sites - they just have either mannequins modeling their clothing or have boring models with a plain white background. Which I guess draws all the attention to the product - but I think a good setting also draws interest to the picture? Maybe that's just me. Dfsdfsdlofdslflfdsfl - I'm rambling again. Just me, talking like i'm a photographer of some sort :P baha. 

I'm suppose to do another shoot for a different girl on Tuesday. She wanted me to actually just shoot some pictures of her for her fashion portfolio because she said she liked my photography - so I told her I'd do it as long as she modeled for my shop :) Yay! Someone who likes my pictures! Woot!

It's rather late, I am just the only one up & felt like typing a blog about pictures at 2 a.m.

Another Photo shoot!

My friend Courtney and I decided at the last minute Friday night to do another photo shoot for my vintage shop before she went to work Saturday. Here's what I got (well, a few of what I got):

First Thirtyonewest Photo Shoot!

Today, while Joshua was finishing his tattoo, I did my first photo shoot for my vintage shop! I was the photographer, so I didn't model in this one - but I asked my friend Courtney if she would come & model some items for me. I did a few close ups and edited a few photos for her personally as well since she modeled for me fo' free ;)

Those are the ones for my shop ^^^. These are the personal ones of her I took & edited:

It was really fun! I like taking photos. & it's wayyyy easier to take photos of others more-so than setting my camera on timer & propping it up on something & taking photos of myself. So I think i'll be shooting some of my friends more often. It's also a good thing because I could possibly get a photography portfolio started -- shoot & edit photos for others who want them done!

Ohhh, I also did her makeup! I was surprised it looked as nice as it did in the photos due to the fact that that was my first time putting makeup on someone else besides myself. :)

Afterwards, I went shopping & out to eat with my love bug Joshua. We went and got some O'Charley's & to Target. I got a magazine, some kind of mineral pebble corrector things for your face, a cute ring, and Diane's (my co-worker I consider one of my BFFLZ) birthday present. I got her some tan OPI nail polish in 'Chocolate Mousse' ? I believe & some kind of anti-frizz John Frieda stuff for her hair.  

Once we got home Joshua & I decided to take a few pictures for ourselves:

I am very lucky to have such a wonderful guy like Joshua in my life! He's great in every way - really. We don't ever fight, get angry with one another (I guess that would be the same as fighting?), or get sick of one another -- & we spend 24/7 with each other (he lives with me).  He's the sweetest guy ever & I don't know what i'd do without my little Joshy Poo in my life!
