Drugstore Haul + Lighter Hair!

Pay day was yesterday, so I wanted to get a few things since I had some extra hours this week. I have been wanting to dye my hair back blonde - but decided I should start out slow so I dyed it a sandy dark blonde/light brown color. I can tell a difference - but it's not a dramatic one :/ I like it though.

 I'll post a finished picture sometime later. It's too dark now and you can't really tell in the dark.

Since I was going back lighter, I thought I should splurge on a few hair products to keep my hair feeling nice & soft so I got the Bed Head Dumb Blonde conditioner/hair mask. It was $17! So I hope it works well. I also love love LOVE the Nexxus shampoo that I already have - so I got this Nexxus Leave-In Conditioning Spray for $9. I can't wait to use it!

I also got ANOTHER Color Tattoo Eyeshadow. They only had the white color called Too Cool left! Everywhere I have went has been sold out of all of these. I also got another Revlon Lip Butter ! I got the Raspberry Pie shade which appears to be a dark plumy pink color - but when applied it's a sheer darker hot fuchsia color that is wearable. 

^ I got all of those products from Wal-Mart.

Next, I went to Sally Beauty and I got this uhhh-mazinggggg nail polish that was on sale! It's a China Glaze nail polish called Blonde Bombshell - which was from their Eye Candy Collection. I got it on sale for $1.99! I used this color on my nails today and I am in love! It's soooo pretty. It's got different sizes of glitter and I didn't even have to use another nail polish underneath!

I also got a little Sally Girl nail polish for $.99 in the color In Love. It's kind of a dupe of the Essie Luxeffect Nail Polish in A Cut Above (I think that's the name of it).

Lastly, I went to Rite Aid where they had a TON of Wet N Wild products on sale! I got 2 of the discontinued Color Icon palettes in Greed and Pride. I love these so much and just discovered them last week! :( I wish they weren't discontinued. I got the Lust one earlier this past week and I love it oh so much. If your local drugstore still has these you should definitely check them out! If they don't have them - I know you will probably still be able to check them out on EBay.

I also got 2 Wet N Wild nail polishes that were on sale for only $.49! I got the colors Private Viewing (A beige with pink undertones) & Bite The Bullet (A dark lavender).

And I also got a Jesse's Girl pigment in the color Secret Weapon which is super pretty! It's a really unique color - it's a sheer white but has metallic mint green/teal shades in it when it hits certain lights. It's a duo-chrome eyeshadow. It's hard to explain the color - but it's really pretty. I got it to wear over the Too Cool Color Tattoo.

And since Valentine's Day was 2 days, of course everything was on sale. So I got a tub of V-day candy corn for like $1.25, a small box of chocolates for $.50, and some Disney Princess ring pops for $.50 :) Om Nom Nom :D

I also got some herbal fruit tea to test out. I've never tried them and wanted to - so I got the sampler pack of the fruity teas.

Sorry I didn't take individual pictures of each of the products. I was being lazy. But some of them I may do individual reviews on or may be in my monthly favorites :)

Lush & Sephora Haul

Well, kind of a haul. I only got 2 things from each place :P 

My boyfriend ordered me some stuff from Lush that I have been wanting & when I got paid last week, I decided to go ahead and order the primer I was wanting for my kit. However, the primer was $45 - and you get free shipping with orders over $50 - so of course I had to purchase something else! :D I got a eyeliner as well :)

 Bubblegum Lip Scrub - $8.95

Enchanted Eye Cream - $25.95

I received my Lush items in the mail last night, and I've already tried them both out. I love them! The Bubblegum Lip Scrub works well - but it's $8.95 for a jar of sugar, jojoba oil, and flavoring. I think I'll make some myself :) Possibly even some to sell on 'Thirtyonewest'?! It smells really good - and you use this stuff to scrub all the dead skin off your lips (which I tend to have a lot of). Then once you're done, you can lick it off. Yummy!

Next, I got the Enchanted Eye Cream. This goes on light - it's not a thick cream. I applied it under my eyes & it soaks in nicely. I applied this stuff on last night, and when I woke up this morning my under eyes felt nice and smooth! It's currently 6 pm and they are still nice and soft!

Here's what the Lush website says about the cream:

"Gentle, soothing cream to minimize fine lines around the eyes. It's perfect for night and day. A small dab of Enchanted, applied carefully with the little finger, refreshes the area around the eyes and softly tightens the skin. Use it to give yourself a little lift, even if there's no-one else around.

We wanted a low-fat moisturizer for the skin around the eyes, and Helen felt it needed to be as light as possible to give the best effect on your delicate eye area."

I'm quite uncertain who Helen is - but whatever! I really like it. A bunch of reviews said it helped with their dark under eye circles - but I have only been using it for a day - so I can't really say much about that.

Makeup Forever Aquarelle in Black - $20

I haven't tried these out - I literally just got these in the mail 5 minutes ago! But I got them for my kit. I also got a free deluxe sample of Laura Mercier foundation primer! Woo hoo! And I got a couple of samples of cologne for Joshua.

That's all for my haulage today. I'm about to place a HUGEEE order with Elf - 37 items. Yep. But I got 50% off, so I couldn't help myself :P

Yard Sale, Dollar Store, & Beauty Store Haul

Lotta hauls in one! But I had a busy day today :) I went to about 7 yard sales & got a ton of stuff!

 I got old cd's to listen to in my car (it doesn't have a port for my iPod cable nor does it play burnt cds) for $1 each. Romeo & Juliet soundtrack just happened to be one I picked up. It's one of my favorite movies :)

 I found this awesome vintage ghost book! I mainly got it for Josh because he loves ghost hunting & such. But it talks about 'the other side' and different crazy things like that. $1!

 I loooooove these super mod yellow, orange, and brown dishes! I got both of the candle holders for $.50 & the big tray was $.75! I got the candles & pebbles from the Dollar Tree -- I'm going to put prettier pebbles that are brown and crystal when I get extra money. And for now - until I get something to put into my tray I'm using it as a candy storage.

 I got 2 cute saucers & matching tea  cups! They're a baby pink color. I got all of these for $3. I plan on writing on them like you see on a lot of Tumblr pictures that say 'Bitch' or 'Slut' in a pretty cursive writing -- they also sell them on Etsy. But I think I'm going to write either 'Babycakes' or 'Sweetheart' on one & draw a mustache on the other :)

 I got the dish on the left at a yard sale for $.50! It's prettier in person - it's actually a clear and black tint but on the outside has a sheer silver finish. I got the other jar & pebbles at Dollar Tree to use to store my makeup brushes. I can be pretty crafty huh?! :)

 I got these awesome bird cut outs for $.25! They were brand new in the packaging. I plan on getting those wooden oval & square wall hangings you use for crafts at Michaels & painting them & gluing these bad boys on there. Most of you probably don't know what the hell I'm talking about -- but I can see things clearly in my head & it will look very cute & mod :) I'm really into mod style stuff here lately.

Aren't these cutest Salt & Pepper shakers?! Ahh, I love them! I will most likely re-sell them in my shop though. But I thought these were adorable & I couldn't pass them up.

 Mickey Mouse Earrings! Woowoo! Still brand new & they're clip ons. I got these to re-sell in mah shop ;)

& lastly for yard sales -- I got these Steve Madden booties for myself :) I got these for only $2! They're a little worn, but I don't mind.

Next up - I went to Sally Beauty Supply just because it was right near the Dollar Tree.

 I got some China Glaze nail polishes on sale. I've never used this brand, but I know it's quite expensive. I've known about it - but my friend at work last night had some on her nails & it looked nice - so I got me a few that were on sale. I got these for $1.99 each! The pale yellow one doesn't have the sticker on it -- so I'm unsure of the name. The black sparkly one is called 'Haunting' and the brown is called 'In Awe of Amber' or something around those lines :P Haha, I don't have them right beside me so I'm not completely sure.

I have also been wanting to get some of these plastic clips for when I curl my hair. I got a pack of 6 of these for $2.99.

 I got my 88 warm palette in the mail!

Yay! This is the same exact palette that Coastal Scents & Bh Cosmetics has. I just got the Ebay one because it was wayyyy cheaper. I'm about 99% sure all the other companies do is purchase them in bulk & slap their label on them. But I don't think they claim to make them - so they can do whatever they'd like. I'd just rather get them for a cheaper price :) This one on Coastal Scents is $24.95 + shipping. I got mine for $10.76 with FREE shipping! Yayyyyy. I also got the original 88 palette & 'eclipse' concealer palette -- but those are from a different seller & he's from Hong Kong - so it'll be about another week or two till I get those.

Elf Haul

I just got all my Elf stuff in the mail today! Woohoo! I just want to show you the things I purchased today - and in a week or so, I'll do a review of all of these products.

I got:

I already have the Eyebrow Kit & the All Over Color Stick in different colors . I used the 'honey' All Over Color Stick in the summertime as my concealer -- and it worked great! So I got a lighter one for the winter time to see if I liked it as well. I'm sure I will - it's the same product - just a different color.

& I have not tried pencils, or any other eyebrow marker before - only shadows & gel. And the first gel I tried was the Elf Eyebrow Kit in 'Ash'. I looooove it! It's just a little light for my brows - so this time I ordered the 'Light' one - and hopefully it'll be my color.

Blahblahblah, like I said - I'll test out all of these & do a review soon enough! :)

CCO Mini Haul!

Today I went antique shopping with my mom, her friend, and sister. I have heard that there was a Cosmetics Company Store around where the antique shop was - so I looked it up & we went there as well!

Me being broke, I only got 2 things & my total was $28.62.

For people who don't know - CCO sells high-end brand name makeup / skincare for less. It also has some limited edition products that the actual store may not have anymore!

I got:

Mac Venomous Villains Carbon Eyeshadow - $11

Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer in ivory - $15.50

As most of you may know, the Mac Venomous Villains was a limited edition thingy they had going on.. and they still have some of the collection! They also had the Hello Kitty Mac Palette and some of the Wonder Woman collection - and some of the collection with the shell on the eyeshadows & powders? I'm not sure what that collections called. Oh wells! 

Carbon is still available at Mac - just not the Venomous Villains one (same color - just different packaging). It's a matte black color :) I'm not too sure how much these cost when they sold them at Mac - but I looked them up on EBay & they were going anywhere from $17-25!

Moving on - I also got the Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer in Ivory - which they do still sell at Bobbi Brown. I paid $15.50 for mine & in the actual Bobbi Brown store they are $22. So I got a little bit of a discount :)

I can't wait to try this! Hopefully they work good.

First Sephora Order

I placed my first Sephora order last weekend and received it a few days ago! I decided to order some expensive makeup finally. I really only wanted to place an order because I saw that the Tarina Tarantino eyeshadows were on sale for $5! But I decided to go ahead and get more stuff because my boyfriend wanted to get me some goods :). I got a total of 5 items for $53 with free shipping - not too bad huh?

That's because 3 things I got were only $5 :P haha. I got:

Sephora's Blush Me blush in Coral Frisson - which was on sale for $5.

Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Eden - $19.

Benefit's Boi-ing Concealer - $19

Tarina Tarantino's Eye Dream Hypershadow in Bibarucci -$5

& Tarina Tarantino's Eye Dream Hypershadow in Electric Butterfly - $5.

My little review of things:

I haven't used the Tarina Tarantino eyeshadows yet - but I swatched them and they are pretty.

Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion works greattttttt. The only other primer i've used is the Elf Eyelid Primer - which sucks ass compared to the Primer Potion! Just a little note - only use this eye primer if you plan on wearing it for a longggg time. I used it last night to take pictures of some of the new shadows I created and I just left them on for about 5 minutes - and I tried to remove my eye makeup with wipes - it wasn't coming off. I had to rub the shit out of my eye just to get it off. My eye was sore after that. So yeah, this product is worth $19 if I do say so myself.

Sephora's Blush me - I don't like it. You can't even tell I have on any blush at all - it just blends into my bronzer or doesn't show up at all :P lol.

Benefit's Boi-ing Concealer - this is a good product. I'm not sure if i'd pay $19 again for another - but it works good. I'm just really cheap when It comes to purchasing makeup items, so if it's $19 - it better do a damn good job lol. You can also use this as an eyeshadow primer as well - but I haven't tried that yet.

I think once I get some more cash, I will be ordering more of Tarina Tarantino's products while they are on sale for $5 - there are 3 more eyeshadows I need to get and her lipglosses are on sale as well :P. I love Tarina Tarantino's jewelry - and I have a few pieces myself - and one day I went to her website and saw that she started creating her own makeup and selling it at Sephora I about shat my pants. I had to try some. So firstly, I purchased her mascara off of EBay - because it was only $9 on there brand new - versus the $19 on Sephora - so I got it. That mascara is the BEST mascara I've ever used (of course, i've only used drugstore mascara)! It makes my lashes really long and full looking.

Yard Sale Haul!

I had to work this morning at 10, so I woke up extra early to hit some yard sales before work! I'm a crazy person, I know. Anywayyyy, I found a ton of stuff that i'm keeping for myself!

These are the purses I got this weekend -- the last black one pictured is ALL MINE! :) The rest i'm re-selling. I got my black purse for $.50! It's really cute and unique. The stripe one I got because it's brand name. It's a Fossil bag:

  I wasn't sure if I liked the last floral tank top that's pictured here - it's Hollister, but it looks like something I would have got in high school :/ lol But I went ahead and picked it out because I didn't wanna regret it later! All of these tops were only $1 each! The striped top is Hollister as well.

 I got these -- the tank is American Eagle & was $1 and the striped top is Gap and was $.50!

 And I got these dressy tops - all $.50 each! The 2nd, 3rd, & 4th tops are all from Target! The first dark blue top is my favorite!!! It's from Banana Republic & here's a detailed picture of the top:

 So pretty! I can't wait to wear this with my white Guess shorts I got last weekend at a yard sale! :)

 I also got myself some shorts! These were $1 each. I don't really like the pockets on the khaki ones, but I really need khaki shorts - so they're fine till I find some more! 

& I got these pants! The top pair has pinstripes & are dress pants. I thought I may could use them for something. Second pair, super cute Levi skinny jeans! $1 each!

Also I found a few pieces of jewelry:

  Sorry this is a pretty horrible picture. I just didn't feel like taking nice pictures of the jewelry with pretty back drops. Lazy me. I'm re-selling the necklace & cameo pin! I haven't decided if i'm going to keep the star earrings or not.

Oh! I'm going to the beach July 3rd - 10th! My Joshua is coming with me & I cannot wait! It'll be our first little vacation together & I believe it will be a blast. I wanna go to some thrift stores while I'm there & Joshua wants to go visit some haunted places.

But, that's all I got for now! Maybe I'll throw some cute outfits together with my new yard sale finds for a future blog.

Shopping Haul / Crafty Stuff.

Yesterday Joshua and I headed to the mall, Target, and the movies. I wanted to go to the mall mainly just because Victoria's Secret was having their Semi-Annual sale & I wanted to get a few makeup stuff for cheap. Here's what I got:

 Everything I got ^^ :) Everything was only $1.75 except the bronzer - it was $3.50.

 I wanted some lipglosses -so I got a couple. I don't like the bronze colored one because it smells beachy/coconut-y & it gives me headaches - so I'm giving that one to my friend. But the other pink one is lemony - doesn't really have tint to it - it's just glossy and clear. But good for the beach. The lipstick is okay - it's in Grape Fruity (I think?) - I thought it'd be better - but it was only $1.75 - so I can't complain :)

 I got a few eyeshadows too - in Plum Crazy, Smokin', and Pink Sand. I couldn't help myself since it was super cheap. I got a couple of the wet/dry ones & a baked shadow. Also, the one in the top middle is the bronzer. I wouldn't buy this to use as a bronzer though :/ It isn't shimmery enough for me & it's like a matte color kind of. But i'll use it for an eyeshadow or a brow filler. But I like the eyeshadows - they're very pigmented.

Then I got a few of these kind of eyeshadows - I got Too Too Pink & Nude Glow. I like them a lot. I wanted to get a few lighter shadows since I'll be going to the beach in a couple of weeks, I wanted to just throw on some simple eyeshadow. :) I also got the Plum liquid glitter liner. I  haven't used it yet - but I figured 'What the hell' - i'll try it!

I also went to Pacsun to see if they had any bikinis or shorts on sale but I didn't find any - instead I found:

These cuteee racer back tanks - all of them were only $4.99 - and the polka dot one is in a Large because they didn't have a small :( But I figured I can wear it as a slouchy top or with a waist belt.

Ever since I started selling vintage clothing online, I don't mind getting bigger sizes - sometimes I prefer them over my actual size. I like the slouchy look and how you can make them look however you'd like - slouchy, cute with a waist belt, or a shoulder top! Also, plus size tops are really great too! Since i'm very small, I can wear plus size tops as dresses with a waist belt - and they actually look really cute too! So next time your at Goodwill, search for some plus size tops - you won't be disappointed! :)

Anyway, that was a little of topic - oh well! The skinny jeans I got are leggings actually I think? Odd, but cute. These were only $6! I had to get these because I already have grey, black, light denim, and dark denim 'jeggings' but I don't have any hunter green ones. And for only $6? Why not!

At Target, I got some drink hangers and table scatter:

 I got these to make some summer jewelry with! I love finding plastic items to re-create into jewelry.

 Like these! I added a teeny rhinestone to the eyeballs & made cute gold stud goldfish earrings with these.

 I also made a turquoise charm bracelet :)
