June 2012 Favorites! ♡

Sorry for the belated post -- busy. But I do have quite a few items that I favorited for the month of June!

First up is a angled blush brush I got from Wal-Mart. I can't remember the brand of it, but it had 'mineral' in the name. It was $5.95 at Wal-Mart though! :)

Next up is one of the new Elf Baked Blushes I got (well I like 2 of these for this month) but I use this as a highlighter. This one is called 'Pinktastic' & it's a great nice shimmery highlight. These are $3 each.

I just got my first Mary Kay purchase this month & I mainly picked up this moisturizer for my mom -- but I've been using it more than she has :/ I love it! I use it on my cheeks and a dab on my forehead since it's summer & they drier than they would normally be. This Time Wise Age-Fighting Moisturizer is $22.

I've had this Hard Candy Take it Off makeup remover since March - but forgot all about it until this month. I have been using this product a ton! I love it so much. It really does get off all your eyeshadow, liner, etc. I use this for my eyes only. It doesn't just move it down your face but it actually takes it off. This was $5 at Wal-Mart.

I've been using this Revlon Photo Ready bronzer in Bronzed & Chic. It's more of an orange-y tint but it doesn't bother me if I apply it with a light hand. This was $12.99 at Walgreens. I think this may be limited edition too.

I showed this product in a haul in one of my previous posts, and I really like it! It's the Beautique Eyeliner in White from Sally Beauty. It was $1.99. Great cheap white liner. :)

I have been obsessing over blushes this month -- so I have 3 blush favorites. Elf Baked Blush in Peachy Cheeky ($3), Wet N Wild Mineral Blush in Barely Peachy ($4), Tarina Tarantino Blush in Carved Rose ($22).

I have been wearing eyeshadow again lately.. and they've all been drugstore ones! I've also been obsessing over drugstore products for some reason? :P But first up are 3 of the Sally Girl Eyeshadows that I wear together and they are Snow, Mauve, and Chocolate. These are $.99 each. I also love this Elf Baked Eyeshadow in Bark and it was $3.

Lastly are a few lip products. I really like the Revlon Kissable Balm Stains. The color I wear all the time that is pictured is called Charm. It's a nice Peachy-Coraly color and it is actually pigmented -- not sheer on my lips at all. I got mine at Wal-Mart for about $8. Next is one of the Maybelline Lipsticks (I can't remember the collection name) that are limited edition -- so go check them out before they stop selling them! I have 3 colors total from the collection -- but my all time favorite is called Nude Nuances. It's a lovely pinky nude color. I've heard it's a good dupe for Mac's Hue -- can't really say for myself since I don't own or have never used that lipstick :P But I paid about $8 for this at Rite Aid.

That's all for my favorites this month! :)

Sally Girl Eyeshadow Haul & Swatches

Since I haven't purchased too many makeup items lately, I figured I'd go out today and spend some money on some cheap products. I've purchased Sally Girl eyeshadow before -- like wayy before I was even into makeup & what not and I had two colors I wore the same way, everyday. Lol. But I figured I'd give them another shot to see what I think about them now that I actually know about makeup and have tried many brands. I haven't tried them out just yet, as I just got them today -- but I will do a review if anyone is interested! I got 10 eyeshadow colors & 1 baked eyeshadow. I also picked up an eyeliner from Sally Beauty I picked up as well.

Okay so these are $.99 each -- they come individually and you can snap them together into a palette of however many you'd like. I happened to make palettes of 5 :)

Okay so first up I connected all of my shades from lightest to darkest. The colors I picked up were: Snow, Gun Metal, Champagne, Coral, & Bronze.

All of these I like. They are very pigmented, especially for $.99 each! Champagne is a gorgeous highlight color :)
I've heard Champagne was a good dupe for Mac's Shroom & Bronze was a good dupe for Mac's All That Glitters. I personally don't know if they are or not because I don't own either of them. Just thought I'd throw that fun little input in there ;) lol. I plan on getting Mac's All That Glitters though for my kit, so I will be able to compare those 2 once I get it :D

Next colors I picked up were: Mauve, Cinnamon, Chocolate, Auburn, and Teal.

I really like these colors as well. Chocolate is probably my favorite purchase. It's a unique brown color. It has a unique sheen to it, I don't really know how to explain it -- but you should pick it up & try it yourself for only $.99! :) Teal was a bit less pigmented than I thought it would be -- but it's still a pretty color.

Good first impressions from these eyeshadows. I can't wait to use them :)

Next up I only picked out 1 baked eyeshadow because I purchased the silver one last summer and it wasn't pigmented what-so-ever. I really hated it. But I figured I'd give another color a shot.. so I picked up a pretty aqua green color. They don't have names like the other shadows for some reason, they only have numbers.

This one isn't too pigmented either -- but it's more pigmented than the silver one I had. I actually do like this one. Even though the color isn't as vibrant as it is in the pan -- it's still a pretty color. I got this to use under my waterline to make my eyes look really blue.

Lastly, I picked up a white eyeliner because I needed one. I've been using the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk for my eyeliner, but I was having trouble with my eye hurting and feeling funny after using it -- so I stopped. I don't know if that is the reason why my eye was feeling odd, but I stopped and it quit hurting. So hopefully this eyeliner will work well & not aggravate my eyes.
It's the Beautique Eyeliner in White. It was $1.99 from Sally's Beauty.

So that's all I purchased today! Let me know if you'd like to see reviews on any of these products :)
Have a great day lovelys <3 <3

Mac Snob Lipstick Dupe!

I recently purchased Mac's Snob lipstick since they didn't have any of the Creme Cup lipsticks in stock. Once I got into the car, I looked in my purse at my Revlon Primrose lipstick to compare it to Mac's Snob. They are almost identical!

As you can see - the Mac Snob lipstick (bottom swatch) is a bit more pigmented than the Revlon one. Of course, look at the price comparison - $6 vs $15! Revlon's is a Creme finish & Mac's is a Satin finish. The Revlon Primrose lipstick works good as an everyday lipstick. I use it a ton. The color lasts pretty decent - Mac's Snob does last longer though. They are almost the same color! If you're wanting around the same color as Snob but don't want to pay or re-purchase a $15 lipstick - Revlon's Primrose is a good dupe! :) I personally love & use both of these.
